The Hipster Hippo
Really far from my usual style but I still had a lot of fun creating, drawing and animating this video in just a few days!
This goofy clip was commissioned by Made my Day media to test the interest in quick animated videos (they usually produce live action or "ranking"-type clips). Although it had a lot of traffic, their audience preferred their usual content, so sadly we decided to discontinue the misadventures of the hipster hippo.
Images were digitally hand-drawn in Manga Studio to be exported and animated in After Effects. Music and respective sound effects were provided by Made my Day and are credited in their Youtube Channel.
